Lila Brown
At a young age, when the rest of us were headed for college or the work force, Lila was headed for Italy, where she attended and completed culinary school, dabbled in art and design, and studied language. As if 4 years in Italy was not enough, she spent two more years in Greece just to make sure that the rest of us were really envious. Lila’s love for travel has taken her from Mexico to Morocco, Bora Bora to Brazil.
It is not easy to put Lila into a cultural situation that she is not comfortable with, which is why Jeff is happy that they will travel to Africa and Asia together where her language skills won’t be a bit helpful.
Jeff Nagy
Aside from a brief stint on the East Coast, Jeff has spent most of his first 41 years in Northern California. Born in San Francisco and raised in Sonoma County, Jeff learned to appreciate surfing and diving the rugged Northern California coastline, home-brewed ales, and liberal politics. He is quite happy that Obama will be in office while he spends the year abroad.
Before selling just about everything he owned to finance this trip, Jeff was a self-employed Internet consultant living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
